I found this great scripture in 2 Kings 5;13 that talks about Naaman and his servant when Elisha counsels him to wash in the River Jordan to clean himself of leprosy. I like it a lot because I can see that the Lord asks us to listen to his Spirit, that tells us to do small things most the time; and big things occasionally; but those small things are basic, and they work. The servant says, "if the prophet (or the Lord through revelation) bid us to do some great thing, would we not do it." then he talks about how the Lord tells him to simply "wash and be clean". I feel like if I were able to have this mindset more often, then I would really see how simply the Lord blesses and brings about His miracles. We shared that today as we had our Zone activity today hiking Twin Peaks in SF. It was a really good view of everything, and we could see everything, the Golden Gate Bridge, downtown SF, Daly City, and the Oakland Temple. We shared with the missionaries that this great people there were the people when we received our calling, this is who we are responsible; here are the 400. It was a really good activity, and the Zone is not only really excited and happy about the 10 that were baptized this week, but they're excited to see the people getting baptized at the beginning of February.
